Student Recruitment, client

Capilano University is still remote and recruiting students virtually. In the current situation with COVID-19, students are left disconnected. This project offers that element of connection between CapU and prospective students. We needed to create that physical engagement and excitement piece that students are missing out on as a result of this remote environment.

We designed an acceptance package that included deliverables such as; branded swag, social media card, student guide, admission letters, and acceptance certificate.

Kapwa Coffee Roasters, client

Kapwa is a recognition of a shared identity, an inner self, shared with others. This Filipino linguistic unity of the self and the other is unique and unlike in most modern languages. Why? Because implied in such inclusiveness is the moral obligation to treat one another as equal fellow human beings. If we can do this, we are on the way to practice peace. We are Kapwa People. - Prof. Virgilio Enriquez

The Kapwa definition is visually represented in the form of the Philippine national flower, the Sampaguita. The Sampaguita symbolizes purity, simplicity, humility and strength. In combination with the Gridnik typeface, a progressive yet modern aesthetic is created to maintain the ideals of the Kapwa beliefs that pours into the workmanship of roasting a coffee bean.
